Burnt Food Museum

OK, hands up! Who has ever had a kitchen disaster where they've forgotten that pie in the oven...or screamed that ultimate anthem of disaster while on the phone 'OH MY GOODNESS, THE CHIPS!!"?
Who has ever had to peel some black conglomeration from the bottom of their pans?
If you put your hand up or answered 'yes' then you may be interested to know that there is such a thing as a Burnt Food Museum.
As it is 'celebrating the art of culinary disaster' the BFM was founded in 1989 by Deborah Henson-Conant after a particularly interesting culinary disaster with Hot Apple Cider, the museum's very first exhibit.
According to the website since that first exhibit countless other works have entered the museum including "Thrice Baked Potato," "Why Sure, You Can Bake Quiche in the Microwave," the indestructible "Mmmm……Soy Pups," and the lovely matching set of Pizza Toast.
While actual exhibits are rare, a visit to Burnt Food Museum will provide an interesting insight into the study of burnt food.
