Chicken Noodle Soup

When you're feeling sick, need a cosy meal or just have a few leftovers to use up then this following recipe may be just what the doctor ordered.
Ingredients
2 shallots chopped
1 Tbspn oil
1 Tbspn light soy sauce
1 Tbspn rice wine
1 litre chicken stock (preferably home made.)
2 carrots chopped
1.5 cups cooked chicken pieces
1 slice leg ham chopped
250g egg noodles, boiled and drained.
Method
1. Heat oil in a heavy-based saucepan large enough to hold all ingredients and saute shallots for one minute.
2. Add soy sauce and rice wine and stir.
3. Add stock and bring to a boil.
4. Drop in noodles, chicken and ham and stir gently to mix well.
5. Drop in carrots and cook.
6. Serve in bowls
