Mmmmm...spicy indian chutney

Before we opened our shop I had a hankering for chutney one day and was even so motivated as to look for a recipe to make it. I came across a recipe for Kasoundi, an indian chutney that my Indian friend assures me is not from the northen part of that great continent.
Anyway, it goes beautifully with beef, so when we were making up the menu and putting together the gourmet beef sandwich I suggested we include Kasoundi. Now, I've made a rod for my own back and have to keep making it to keep up with demand.
We've had one or two regulars ask to buy a jar of it and I'm toying with the idea of bottling and selling it in the shop. My greatest compliment, however, was when an Indian lady and her family came for lunch and she asked to meet the person who had made the chutney.
I popped my head out from the back of the shop and she told me that it tasted beautiful and just like it was made in India. I was grinning from ear to ear for the rest of the day.
If people would like the recipe please let me know by your comments and I'll put it in the next post.
