Nutty Beef Satay

A great blend of flavours and the sauce goes great with simple foods like boiled potatoes as well as beef.
Ingredients
750g piece rump steak
1/2 C crunchy peanut butter
1 small chicken stock cube, crumbled
1 C water
2 Tbs honey
1 Tbs dark soy sauce
1 Tbs lime juice
2 tsp curry powder
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
Method
1. Cut steak into 2cm cubes and thread onto satay skewers.
2. Place skewers in a single layer in shallow dish.
3. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over satay sticks, cover, refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
4. Drain satay sticks and serve marinade.
5. Bring marinade to boil in pan, and boil uncovered for about 10 mins stirring frequently or until thickened.
6. Grill satay sticks until beef is tender. Serve with sauce and vegetables.
