Pizza for kids
June 24th 2010 15:23
I had been craving pizza for a couple of days so thought I may as well get some home-made jobs happening.
My boys loves helping in the kitchen so I figured they may as well make their own.
I got my five year old chopping up devon (with a very blunt knife) and he kept saying that he was a masterchef. Too cute.
I made just a basic scone dough for the base as I had no yeast and didn't have the opportunity to go tot he shops.
Then I cut up mushrooms, cold sausage and devon, grated cheddar and havarti cheese and shaved some zucchini. There was even some mashed up boiled egg.
The kids loved having their own choices, all garnished with BBQ sauce.
Hubbie and I had more adult tastes with chili, spanish onion and eggplant.
They were delicious and a great way to use up leftovers.
Cooked in the preheated oven at 180 for about 15 mins.
