Quickly, or I'll cancel my order!!

Time ticks on
Most of our customers are very patient while getting their orders but some are definitely not gifted in that area!!
An elderly lady had walked into the shop one day and firstly asked my husband where the Catholic church was located.
Not being too familiar with the location of the Catholic church, my husband had interrupted the conversation I was having with another customer ,who happened to be a well-grounded local, and asked her if she knew where the church was. She proceeded to give our elderly customer the correct directions.
After getting the information that she needed the elderyly lady then turned around and asked me for a small cappucino to take away. As I was taking her order I noticed another lady had walked into the shop and was looking studiously at the menu board.
I then asked the second lady what she would like to order noticing that she had such a look of excitement on her face.
"It's been such a long time since I've had a strawberry milkshake", she grinned "I'll get that!" I couldn't help but be tickled by her childlike ethusiasm.
Noticing that I hadn't jumped in and started her order straight away, the elderly lady leaned over the counter and said gruffly: "Quickly, or I shall have to cancel my order!"
It was the quickest cappuccino that I've ever made, if only to get Her Gruffness out of the shop. After her order was complete the second lady asked if she could have doughnuts with her milkshake (we make them fresh) and then added; "Funny how she wanted her order so quickly, we're going to the same place."
As it turned out they were both attending a funeral of a friend who had succumbed to cancer. Her Gruffness had wasted her time asking everyone where the church was and then expected everyone to hurry for her, whereas the second lady was reliving her second childhood and wanted a milkshake and doughnuts to enjoy and 'strengthen her' for the ordeal ahead.
I also found out that this lovely lady was battling breast cancer and so was trying to enjoy every moment of her time left.
I just hope that Her Gruffness doesn't use the same line on her Creator that she had used on me. Cancelling the order on Him may have much more dire consequences.
