The Sea-Change is paying off!!!

It's been nearly two years now since our little family moved up to the NSW Far North coast from Kariong on the Central Coast to Evans Head and almost 17 months since we opened our cafe "The Sandwich Shak".
Since then we have learnt to make coffee (excellently, I might add) and feed the wonderful town of Evans Head our gourmet sandwiches, fresh cinnamon doughnuts, tasty hot dogs and the famous Baxter Burger.
Being a tourist town set right on the coast, we get quite a myriad of people come through our shop, especially in the holiday season. Some are forgettable, some are memorable and others are just downright worth writing about. And I'm not talking just about the tourists but the locals as well.
So, if you'd like to join me on the journey that my husband and I are taking where we meet new and interesting people every day, while providing the most basic need known to mankind - that of delicious fresh food and coffee - then please feel free to read my blog, have a laugh, a bit of a tear or even pick up some tasty tips to tempt the tastebuds!!!
