We've been promoted!!

The powers that be in Orble have decided that it was high time The Sandwich Shak blog had it's own domain and while it would have been nice to have called it 'The Sandwich Shak', I have settled with Food Journo. It is now no longer an inactive blog.
Food Journo suits where we are at at the moment. Since I lost my part-time job last year, I was doing some extra shifts in the shop but also had planned to start up my own writing business. I have a degree in Literature and a diploma in Freelance Journalism but never really put either to good use. This was my chance.
While running my own blogs is fun, it isn't very high paying so I needed a few more clients. I have since picked up work writing articles for the magazine I used to work for and proof-reading for another local magazine. My biggest client, however, is the regional newspaper where I am currently doing regular shifts in news, features, lifestyle and editing. I am loving it!
So while Sir continues to keep the shop grill cooking, I still manage to get a shift in here and there, but am concentrating on where my own little business is going. Hence, the appropriate title of Food Journo. This blog will cover both what's happening in our little town via our shop and also any interesting quirky events that I come across as a journalist.
